Clear ceramic braces work the same way as traditional braces, but they use clear or tooth-colored material instead of metal. Ceramic braces are adjusted periodically by your orthodontist in the office.
What are the pros and cons of ceramic braces versus traditional?
Many patients choose ceramic braces because they are less noticeable than metal braces. However, they can be more expensive and less durable than traditional metal braces. Your orthodontist can more fully discuss what would work best for your particular situation.
